====================

In fertile Mesopotamia between the Tigris and Euphrates rivers, lies the cradle of civilization.

Your goal is to develop all 4 of the key spheres of civilization: Settlements, Temples, Farms, and Markets. To do this, you will position your leaders, create and extend kingdoms, build monuments, and resolve conflicts. Tension arises when kingdoms connect and leaders clash on the board, with only one leader of each type surviving. You will thus aquire victory points in each of the four spheres. The winner is the player who develops their civilization in the most balanced way, without revealing a sphere of weakness.

With no setup time required, no pieces to lose, and no arguments about the rules, the future of board games is here and Tigris & Euphrates gives you exactly what you want -- to play!

How to play:

During their turn, the active player may carry out up to two of the following actions, in any order:

- Position (place, move or remove) a leader.
- Place a tile and earn a victory point.
- Place a catastrophe tile.
- Swap up to 6 tiles

The active player may choose two different actions, or the same action twice.

Pros and cons of Reiner Knizia Tigris&Euphrates app for iPhone and iPad

Reiner Knizia Tigris&Euphrates app good for

Very good adaptation of a great boardgame. I wish the AI were a bit stronger though.
Wonderful translation of a great board game. Great graphics which are true to the original board game. Good and clear menus. The tutorial is one of the best I have seen in any ipad game. Even the music is very good. Also turn by turn multiplayer - great ! Ranks along side Carcassonne in my opinion as an ipad board game. Buy.
Nice game. So far the AI seems good enough. These kinds of games almost appear to made for touchpads. So much better than all the action and rpg trash they keep selling for mobile.
Well I am a fan of the board game. The AI would need to be improved.
Havent played the actual board game, but enjoyed learning it here
Great to have an app version of the game. I paid $0.99 and feel that the pricing may be holding development back. Its a great game. Id easily pay $5.99-$9.99 if the following changes were made: Multiplayer - difficult to follow with AI players. The tiles placed all appear in a flash and you cant really tell what others have done. Advanced board game features added (expansion?) Online - can be difficult to get a game set up. Delay in challenges being received All in all great 5 star game with 3 star online interconnectivity

Some bad moments

I used to love this game and app. But with my iPhone 6 and latest iOS, I only got a black screen!! Please fix it !!!! Thanks
Great game and pretty good design; however the Ai is really buggy and ruins the game progress. Some in-game button dont work and again ruins the game progress.
This was a great game, but it is not fully compatible with the current iOS and is not being updated, so Im not sure why it is still being sold.
This game suffers from two massive flaws that render it almost unplayable. 1) it allows you to undo your turn even after you have completed it 2) you can not swap leaders. This means you can backtrack after a conflict is finished, which ruins the game. Not having the ability to swap leaders removes an important strategy from our disposal. The game can be great, but it needs a lot of polish. The art is terrible. The developer seems to have abandoned it.
Poorly integrated with iOS 10. Notifications work half the time. Online games stuck loading. Pretty sad. A classic like this deserves better.
Like many iOS versions of board games, this one is provides the experience of the original cardboard version while providing a lot of convenience such as portability, faster play, and playing against AIs. If you enjoy the cardboard version, this will give you your fix.
