I do like the game. I have the board version as well and like the app because its not a favorite amongst gamers. What I dont like about the app itself is I paid money for it and yet I get the annoying ad for the Porto Rico game app that I also already own. It pops up when taping the screen to load my game. It also regularly freezes the game and I have to reboot my device. Sometimes when Im luckily enough not to select it I cant get it to close. The (x) to close doesnt always work. I figure it froze my device there and have to reboot my device. Id like to play multiple games, but multiple games would require more access to the game thus more of that ad getting in the way. I havent recommended this game to my friends because of the ad. We just play other euro games instead.

Nice app, functions smoothly even on an older iPad. I appreciate the accurate rendition of board game rules, good AI with solo play, and allowance for multiple human players.

Will have to play more. Not bad. Not a bad app too. A little confusing though, still learning how it all works. Like for instance, there are 2 scores for each color. One thats just a number, and the other that is a "+". Not sure what the difference is. Anyone care to explain?

This game reserved better interface. Eg. Number of remaing moves (2,1,0) to prevent clicking end turn if you have some moves left. Overall it needs revamp and I will gladly give it 5 stars You should solve the bug after clicking REMATCH game does not start :(

Seems like a good game although its complicated and hard to grasp at first. The interface needs a serious update as with ios 7.1.3 the tutorial was glitchy. Please update! Glad I got it when it was in sale.

I enjoy this game a lot and the game speed are fast!

Like the boardgame, it takes a bit to get used to, very strategic. My only complaint (thus costing the 5th star) are the pop up ads (only in the launch screen true) for the other games (which I have already have & love). I live for boardgames & would love to see more (new ones) instead of being taunted with repeats I already own.

The actual game is fantastic, and most of the time the game on iPad is easy. But the bugs are a little wonky, and need to be fixed before this deserves a full 5 stars. Game always stalls when you do a rematch. Other moments stall at times too. But for the most part, its fun, and the pros definitely out way the cons.

1. The replay button doesnt work. 2. Why so long to display the final scores? 3. Games shouldnt be automatically saved. These three bugs REALLY take away from the overall enjoyment of the game, which is a shame.

Just downloaded to iPhone 5s, running iOS 8. Doesnt work, black screen! All I hear is music. Before dropping the price to pull in more downloads, it should be updated for newer iOS and devices!

Purchased the game, nothing but a black screen.

Most of the times all I get is a black screen with music playing. One time it showed the title screen but the buttons were unresponsive.

Ive played the board version of this and I loved it. An app version? Fantastic I should buy it! I did and when I loaded it up on my iPhone 6 (iOS 8) nothing but a black screen and music greet me. I cant play the game. I assume something to do with the newest iOS has to be the problem because on the developers website it says "up to date on all iOS 5 devices". So Im guessing these developers arent interested in keeping this app updated. If they fix this and prove me wrong Ill take this review down, but if youre reading this it means that they have still not fixed the problem.

Runs smoothly (better than the app store…), but there are some fatal bugs. The worst: when an AI revolts, their base strength is always 5, which is higher than the maximum of 4. Indeed, it takes a rather good hand to be able to beat.

Same problem reported in other reviews. I can hear music but black screen. Will the developer fix this? I’m on iOS 8 with an iPhone 6.

This game doesnt work on my iPhone 5s with the latest iOS as of 12/22/14. I love this game, but all I get is a black screen and it doesnt load. Ive tried reinstalling and rebooting the phone, but no luck. Dont waste your money.

Aw come ON! I love the game and have been playing for months, but the upgrade to iOS 8 just killed it. Nothing but a black screen when you open the app.

Does not work on iPhone 6 with iOS 8. The app opens up, but just displays a black screen. Its a great game. With a reprint of the physical board game announced, I decided to jump back in to the iOS version but was met with disappointment. Ill remove this review when the app is fixed.

This game is a masterpiece... The app works really well on the iPhone... I was shocked.

I imagine this game could be fun if it were playable. For me it ran one time then will only present a black screen. $5 wasted, basically. Its a shame. 6 plus with ios 8 here.
