Love the App but had an orientation problem with my new iPhone. Contacted the developers and they responded quickly and gave me the solution.

Black screen. Looks like a great game, just doesnt seem to work on iPhone 6+ with latest iOS version.

I am really enjoying this game. Its unlike any other game Ive ever played. It is logic and strategy based but its not overly complicated. Anyone could learn to play it. Its so much fun. I recommend this game very much. You will not be disappointed with purchasing this game, or any other Reiner Knizia game for that matter. 5 glowing stars!

As pointed out by other reviewers this does not work on iPhone 6 Plus.

iOS 8.1.2, iPhone 6 plus. Black screen, just music. Poking around I can still click on stuff, but never gets past a black screen in game.

The app hasnt been updated recently, but apparently the developers are still responsive because they added a note to the app page explaining how to get around the current bug. Hopefully they will be releasing a fix soon, but Im happy to be able to get back to my game. Note: you have to have screen lock off for the workaround to work.

I found the app to be a great way to learn this game. Its easy to see the tiles on a 6 plus, but any smaller iPhone might be an issue. I bought the advanced map. I was hopeful it would include the ziggurat and other add-on structures but it doesnt.

Please update the game. I paid for it and why cant I play it ?

This game suffers from two massive flaws that render the game unplayable. 1) it allows you to undo your turn even after you have completed it 2) you can not swap leaders. These two bugs render the game almost unplayable allowing people to backtrack and spoil the game after a conflict takes place, or by denying players the ability to make critical moves such as swapping leaders on the board. The game can be great, but it needs a lot of polish. The art is terrible. The developer seems to have abandoned it.

Great game.. I have the tabletop version, but had trouble understanding the rules. I Waited a few months til the app went on sale for 99 cents. I bought the app to teach myself the rules. It took a few times going thru tutorial, playing the game and reading the rules in the App, but I was able to figure it out. Fun game, really love the mechanics... Point collecting, area control, 2different types of head to head combat, can really swing the game... Plus being able to instigate wars between your opponents is an interesting twist I havent seen before. The game is pretty stable on both my ipad 2 and ipad 3. The interface works well enough.. There are 3 minor issues... First, the rematch function doesnt work, it just hangs there, so after you hit rematch, you still have to go back to the main menu and replay the same game to get it to restart. Second, theres like 3 pages of game save slots, I have no idea why you would ever need that many.. Third, the animation to display the final scoring is slow.. I guess its supposed to be dramatic, but its just slow... Still an Awesome game... my new favorites iPad board game implementation. Cant wait to try my tabletop version with my friends now...
